The European Summit for Residential MDU Connectivity and Proptech

A Word from the Chair
Adlane Fellah
Chair, RISER™ Europe 2027
Founder & Chief Analyst, Maravedis
Every apartment building has a riser: the vertical shaft that carries power, water, and data from the basement to every floor. Nobody photographs it, and few residents know where it is. Yet it determines whether a building can deliver what people now expect from where they live: fast, reliable connectivity, secure access, efficient energy use, and services that simply work.
RISER™ takes its name from that shaft, and its purpose from the conversation the riser represents.
For more than twenty-five years, I have worked in connectivity across many regions and verticals, and multi-dwelling buildings have always held a particular interest for me. One pattern holds everywhere: property owners and asset managers make the decisions that shape the resident experience, but the events where technology is discussed rarely put them at the center. Europe has excellent fiber conferences, telecom shows, and proptech gatherings, but until now it has never had an event dedicated to connectivity and technology in multifamily buildings.
RISER is the first. It is built as a forum where institutional residential owners and the companies that connect and equip their buildings meet on equal terms to work through the business case together.
On 6 to 8 April 2027 in Amsterdam, we will bring together around 300 carefully selected participants from every part of the multifamily ecosystem. The agenda covers the full stack of the connected building: in-building fiber and Wi-Fi, managed connectivity models, access control and physical security, energy and HVAC, the connected unit, and the resident platforms and AI tools now reaching the market. It also addresses the regulatory forces reshaping the sector across the continent, and opens with independent research on where the European multifamily market actually stands.
A word on how the program is built, because it matters. Maravedis curates the agenda with one test in mind: whether each session is worth a property owner's time. Property owners attend as guests of the event. Our partners make RISER possible, and their support is visible and valued, and they share our interest in a room where owners come to learn, compare, and decide.
RISER is produced by Maravedis in partnership with HanseCom Media & Communication, and is proud to be endorsed by Fibre Council Europe with more industry associations to come.
If you own, operate, connect, or equip residential buildings in Europe, I hope you will join us in Amsterdam. Come ready to share what is working, question what is not, and leave with the relationships that turn ideas into deployed buildings.
I look forward to welcoming you.
